2024 spring nucs $210

2024 spring nucs will be available for pickup late April or early May. Pickup location will be in Axtell, TX  (20 minutes outside of Waco).    Weather will play a key role in when they are ready.  All nucs will come with a 2024 laying queen on 2-3 frames of brood that she has laid as well as plenty of honey/pollen.   Her laying pattern will be assessed by us before selling to make sure she is well mated and there is adequate brood to expand rapidly.     If you have any questions about our nucleus colonies or would like to get on the waiting list please contact us via phone or email.

We are not requiring deposits this year but we do ask that those placed on the waiting list are serious about buying.  2-3 weeks before the nucs are available we will make contact with those on the waiting list to arrange pickup dates and times.  Payment will be made at time of pickup.   

We have raw Central Texas honey available.  This year we had a bumper crop of bee balm, Indian paintbrush and mesquite.  These flowers contribute to a very nice tasting lightly colored honey.  Our honey is removed from the combs, gravity fed through a coarse strainer and then bottled.   We do not filter or pasteurize our honey.  It is raw and contains the enzymes from the bees as well as micro bits of pollen.
